A recurring theme. I have not done much since losing my wife of 27 years in April 2023. But as I take a little white pill for depression, I find at least a bit of motivation
This kit is pretty special to me anyway. It was bought during the first year we were together. 1997. Probably in a hobby shop near Mile Square Park in Costa Mesa CA.
Also I was a BAR. Having been on hiatus from rocketry since the early 70's. I knew of Estes and Centuri and even FSI back then. But had never heard of Custom. So it was a treat to get kits from someone other than Estes.
I bought the Bullet, an Engage, an Equinox, a Metra, and a Dynamic Carrier
I built and still fly the DC, and Engage (tho the upper section of the Engage was replaced.
So here we are 26 years later. A widower. I open a box of rockets packed away years ago in storage, going through our stuff , and I find this kit The Bullet. (Along with a bunch I have put on sale).
