In case you are not aware, Art Applewhite has graciously left plans for many of his saucers online. You must accept a liability agreement prior to getting them, but he has MMX saucers that are made from cardstock and are absolutely free. I built 4 of them a couple of weeks ago at one sitting. He has a blank one (paint or decal to your liking), a patriotic one, and a Texas flag one. Everything is there, including the motor tube and engine stop. I used a 1/4” dowel to wrap the motor tube so it would be correct size. I found if I wrapped the engine stop block around a 1/8” dowel it came out a perfect fit for the motor tube.
