New to model rocketry however have degrees in aerospace engineering, electronics/IT/etc. Specialising in software, computer vision and AI.

Interested in: reliable multi-staging (3+) and guidance/control on descent/recovery.

Doing now: my 1st rocket design from scratch using materials available from hardware shops, will be 120-150cm tall. Love the math involved in getting all parameters right. Would love it to be fully packed with electronics.

Intermediate goals: L1 and L2 certification, hopefully on the same design. Need L2 to go multi-staging...

Found Rocketry Forum to be extremely vivacious. Glad to join.

Regards
Victor

Welcome Victor. I was on the range on the weekend flying, so I hope to catch up with you next time you're there. I've also done some guided recovery tinkering, so I'll be interested with your ideas.

Thanks for welcoming posts.

Hey Aussies, before I have a chance to attend next Victorian Rocketry meet and ask newbie questions related to my build:
- how do I get reloadable 38mm motor case in Melbourne, order from overseas?
- and, how do you buy E-F motors, local stores?

The local suppliers for rocketry hardware and motors are:
https://endeavouraerospace.com.au
https://www.frontlinehobbies.com.au
https://www.bergshobbies.com.au

Also, check with your local club for club stocks and group orders. You might even be able to purchase or borrow motor hardware from other club members.
