Seems like a lot of people are trying to do their own masks in the wake of this crisis, and i figured i may as well share what I've been up to.

I've been collaborating to come up with a n95 substitute using anesthesia masks. This adapter allows any reasonable thickness of filter material to be used with a well sealing anesthesia mask.

The clip system is really slick, and If you are making your own mask I would suggest trying it out and possibly incorporating it into your design.

We believe using HEPA vacuum bags or a sterilization wrap fabric called HALYARD H600 will provide very similar protection to n95, although I lack proper testing equipment to verify.

If you have any suggestions for improvements I'm happy to receive feedback.
