Falcon 3

It's not a Falcon Heavy, and it is not a Titan III. So, it is a Falcon 3. (Titan Heavy didn't seem right.)

First time fully stacked:



Built using mostly parts from the Estes Pro Series II Parts Assortment, except that there was only one BT-70 nose cone so I printed my own.

29mm motor mount in the center, and 24mm in the side pods. Should be fun.

Estes BP. I plan to avoid the 24mm motors though, due to recent history of CATOs.. So maybe an F15 in the center and whatever 18 mm motors in the sides.

Don’t know what caused the spin around the launch rod. I am installing rail guides on standoffs, so maybe that will help.

A bigger parachute too. That came down fast. No damage, though.

What do (will) you use for rail button stand-offs?

I used a spacer and longer screw on the button. For the upper guide, I 3D printed one with integral spacer.
