Somewhere in the forum I had a discussion about “for show” booster pods on fin tips. The idea was to put 1/4A, 13mm motors in three fin pods at the end of each fin. The sustainer would be a beefy motor, such as a C6 or D12. If the sustainer did not light, no biggie. The 1/4A motors couldn’t get the rocket off the pad. If a 1/4A did not light, no biggie. They are just for show anyway. But if the sustainer lights and all three 1/4A’s light, you get lots of fun smoke and flame on lift off!But widely spaced pods are so cool and work well with epoxy plugged booster motors! Give into the Dark Side.
Wait! You were in that thread!
