Hi I’m new here I’ve been doing model rocket for a while now and gotten quite good at constructing model rockets from scratch and designing my own model rocket and i was wondering if any one know any model rocket contest that not tarc

You can fly NRC or FAI competition but you need to fly at a sanctioned launch..... https://nar.org/contest-flying/

The local NAR group – Dallas Area Rocket Society (DARS) was into a lot of NAR contests. I don't know if they still are or not, but worth checking with them.

Hi @Cosmo77 . I'm not much of a contest flyer myself but I am the DARS VP and NAR contests aren't really much of a thing at our launches anymore. That said we have some members who have been very involved in contest flying and would be happy to tell you all about it. Other than TARC, the other team competition I can think of is the Student Launch Initiative. We've supported teams for both of those contests.
I'd invite you to come out and see us and also check the Tripoli North Texas club if possible to meet all the DFW locals.
