Always learning!!!
It’s just the avionics sled inserted about halfway into the bay.
You can see the aluminum channels it slides into.

The second pic shows what it looks like after the 1/4" aluminum mounting plate is installed and the 1/2" forged-steel all-thread and eyenuts are installed for flight.

Or run a wire across the eyenuts. Then they can't turn too far.Chuck,
As a safeguard against those eyenuts loosening and coming off, you might want to install two nuts on the threaded shaft, inside the loop. Use two wrenches to "jam" them against each other, to act as a "stop", just in case.

That's what I think I'm seeing. If correct, you've created multiple potential "hinge points"?It’s just the avionics sled inserted about halfway into the bay.

Well...At least no one would ever be able to accuse you of being nutless..Chuck,

Check this video out Chuck, it shows the process of rolling out a 50 footer, well a small portion of it. Took about 3 hours to roll out, probably 9-10 hours to sew on Sunday at full pedal throttle. LDRS is coming up fast!
Btw is your rocket 12” or 16” Diameter?
Chuck,
I never posted your name, but only identified the "source".
"Loose Lips Sink Ships" . . . LOL !

Chuck. I’ve made a little more progress this afternoon. These are the jacks being attached to the outriggers.
Thank you chuck. We are getting close to being done with it. I plan on getting it mounted on the trailer tomorrow and getting the hydraulic hoses made.Your welding is as professional as it gets Levi. I'm not an expert but I do know a good weld when I see one.
This mobile launch platform is going to be one of the finest out there. We got lucky to have someone like you take the lead and do it right.
Thank you.
Chuck C.
It’s going to be sand blasted then painted with gloss black.Levi,
How is it going to be finished ?
Painted ?
Powder-Coated ?
Chrome-Plated ? ( Chuck could get a matching, chrome-plated "George Patton" WWII battle helmet - LOL )
Thanks,
Dave F.
