Hmm. I might have to copy you there. How close to actual scale are the PSII parts (Argent fins, 2.5" cone)?
Good to know. I think a 1/2" difference in cone length is tolerable at that scale, given that it would be a lot cheaper than having a custom cone turned. I suppose, then, that the Argent fins could be used for a smaller Cherokee upscale, but it wouldn't really fit a standard tube. They'd a little big for BT-60 or 2.64" tube, and too small for AT 1.9 tube. So, you're suggestion of basing it on the Partizon is probably the ticket for fairly easy super Cherokee.
The Partizon also gives a lot more body tube than needed. Was there enough 2.5" tubing in the Argent to build the Cherokee, or did you have to add? I might actually favor using the Argent if it does, and using the remaining parts to build some form of 2" rocket as well, if I can come up with centering rings...
