The av-bay is fairly small at 2" dia. and 5.75" long so need to keep things fairly simple/compact inside, thus a great place for a Perfectflite Stratalogger! Battery and switch will be mounted on the back and wires routed through hole to the altimeter. Since I don't have the altimeter yet, I am waiting to drill the holes and mount t-nuts until then.

Bulkheads too are small too, so these will simply use centrifuge tubes through the holes at 12 o'clock in each picture. Couldn't get much simpler!

And same on aft end... BTW, looking closely you might notice a layer of fiberglass laminate on the bulkheads.

Fully equipped recovery with 1/4" Kevlar shock cords and a super nice long streamer with drag pocket for the apogee event from here (3 for $20 hard to beat). Also a parachute upgrade to a 34" PML I had laying around due to the weight in the dual deploy configuration.

Met Bill Carpenter in person at Thunderstruck in April. I apologized to him that I had gotten sidetracked with this build thread and promised him I would complete it. So after quite a few diversions, I do have another post on this. I am well into the primer/fill phase. I'm kinda running this build and a Shadow Aero Ultra Fat Boy in parallel at this point:

I continue to make glacial progress on this rocket (anyone less anal would have finished this months ago). Ground testing is complete and I just need to do a couple of more "micro-fills" and shoot a bit more white primer. The color scheme has been selected and the weather looks pretty good for this weekend. Should be able to wrap this up for a maiden flight at MWPX.
