I need a better tube sanding technique

It's the product that I mentioned in the post immediately above yours.

It has some curved sanding blocks that are very close to the curvature of many standard body tubes. If the curvature of the block isn't exact, I add a thin layer of foam between it and the sandpaper.

Okay, this is a good idea. In a sense if I were to try this technique, I could use Frost Kings Wrap Insulation on the sanding block. This sounds good. Ill have to try this.

I have had issues with the insulation tape if I press a little too hard. I try, and let me emphasize, TRY to be patient in my steps, especially when sanding, but patience does not always last and I begin to sand a little too hard.
