I've been working on my Deuce's Wild! over the past weekend. It's been a very fun build. The quality is great, and everything fits perfectly. I'm planning to use this as a test vehicle to compare my app results with Altimeter Two readings. I'm going to cut the end down to make a small payload section.
I've actually used all my yellow Estes helper tools on this project. This includes the old yellow alignment guide, body tube marking guides, ultimate tube marking guide, and the new body tube cut-off guides. So far I've used the cut off guides for marking, but I'll use them for cutting the payload section off.
Here are some pics of what I've done so far.
Package and contents:
I splurged and got the baffle too:
Motor mount assembly:
Alternate use for my Fliskits Crayon:
Tube markings and cutouts:
Testing the fit:
Gluing fins:
I should have everything finished soon. I've working on it piecemeal between updates to my app, and other things going on.
I still want to build a relay launcher for more reliable clustering.
