I ended up with an Aerotech 38mm H669 motor for a price I couldn’t pass up. And I have a CW Arrow 2.5 from a Black Friday sale. I’ve simmed the combo and it looks good but, since I’ve only built two fiberglass rockets and they’re both Mach 1 “BT” LPR kits, given reasonable construction will the Arrow stand up to the H669’s 2K ft/sec acceleration? I’d hate to have the fins come off as it leaves the rail and go ballistic into the folks at our launch!

I used a H999 on a rocket that weighed in at 23oz. Mach 1.1 at the end of the rail and 283g's. Surface mount fins. I also on some MD rockets have cut a fin slot, greased a spent motor case and glued the fins in the slot. Use good glue, prep glue area well, I like 36 grit on glass, clean before hand and then clean again after prep work.
