Build thread for 1/72nd Vulcan.

Currently have structure dry fitted.
Main airframe is quantum tubing. Other body tubes from erockets.
Payload nosecone turned by Gordon from roachwerks.
SRM nosecones sanded down from nosecones from erockets.
Bottom transition hand formed/sanded from balsa.
Haven't cut main airframe down to length, as unsure which payload length i will be modeling.

Likely be 1+ years before i finally get around to finishing and launching.

I’m in the preliminary planning stage for a Vulcan also as AMX paper space has posted wraps at 1/96 for a cardstock model. I’ll be up scaling these to 1/ 81,692 and using BT-80 for the main frame and BT-20 for the GEMs on the side. The PLF will be the short version. ULA web site has great pictures of cert1 flight version.
Nice looking Atlas btw.
