That plane was brand new. You really look like the gang who can't shoot straight these days.
Not enough pins in the design. It's an optional door location. Alaska air ordered it without the door. The insert blew out.
I read they grounded all the 737 MAXes.
Maybe there were enough pins in the design but not too few in the implementation. Not enough pins in the design.
Maybe they used shear pins. Not enough pins in the design.
When is a door not a door?
Exactly, Phil Condit was the last of the engineers to run the company. After him Stonecipher took over and began the long journey down to emulate what he had done to his previous company. This is what happens to a company when the engineers are thrown off the BOD and replaced by the bean counters.
Initial reports I have read say that a boy and his mom were sitting there, and that the boy lost his shirt. And also a good thing no one was sitting in the seat right next to the hole.
OOOhhhhhhKay. Maybe I don't feel quite so embarrassed now!
I love those 747 max 9s that very much do exist
If someone tries to sell you a seat on a 747 Max 9, then walk away.I love those 747 max 9s that very much do exist
Definitely 100% real, no fake
Ok, I raised 5 kids and have 6 grandkids. I know what it takes to get a shirt off of a kid. Thank Almighty God and/or an apparently a tight seat belt and probably Mom holding on for dear life that he didn't get sucked out. What a terrifying ordeal that must have been! All the way down, figure approach and landing is what, about 170 mph?Initial reports I have read say that a boy and his mom were sitting there, and that the boy lost his shirt.
Gives new meaning to the expression "Boy, I really lost my shirt on that one".

He must have used Testors Blue instead of Testors Red.
So I guess the technical term for it is plug, not door?EAD issued on all with mid cabin door plug installed:
