Red Stain Day 1

Started staining the rocket. It's looking pretty splotchy, with all the wood glue and variety of plywood and redwood. I'll apply another coat and decide if I want to keep going, or just paint it red.​

Great idea for a tree topper. I used a BT20 Citation Patriot downscale on my rocket-tree last year. Since Estes started selling them, I bought 2 complete sets of ornaments each year so I now have enough of them for their own small tree.

I think it's done... don't quote me on that though. I could spend a couple days sanding and reapplying Urethane to get it smooth....​

Sometimes natural defects just work out.​

As a side note, don't step in that "Black Hole"​

Motor Mount Spool

Rear Eject Spool uses a smaller "Ejection Tube" to give room for the parachute. High Temperature paint was used where the ejection blast impacts the spool.
