That's a Talon 6. I need to fly it one of these days.

Canyon Coral and Indigo Ivory.

This project is two identical airframes.

Not really.

I realize I'm being a little pedantic, but this is the kind of thing of which rumors are made.
Kevin, put down that skillet, I'm just playing around...

I'm sure Tripoli does regular internal audits, which would catch any 'skimming from the pot'. In all seriousness, I think Deb is doing a great job.

My real question is, what is the variable that you will introduce between the two, otherwise identical rockets?

I recognize that you are. It's the out-of-context skimming of messages that causes issues. I will admit to being a bit sensitive, because I had a pair of past club members try to start rumors about me in a similar (but not identical) context. Fortunately, they tried with people who knew exactly what was going on and shut it down quickly.

As for the variable, that's where the fun comes in.

It's all about starting to collect recovery system data.

Thus, two identical airframes (or as close as I can get them), two identical sets of electronics (TeleMega and EasyMega in each), two identical recovery systems, a largish (35!) batch of motors, all from the same production batch. Removing as many variables as I can.

Then doing numerous flights, collecting data, correlating data, and seeing what we can all learn from it.

Sounds like a lot of fun! I mean work. Totally work to do all that and get all those flights in... Work. Yeah.
