Don't laugh-I found a case I'd flown a few years ago buried in my range box. Complete with toasted innards. Oven cleaner.

How do you clean the end of the delay well? I haven't found a stiff brush with bristles on the tip.

Ed's Red gun cleaner works well to get carbon off.

Pipe cleaners.

Many oven cleaners---at least the strong ones---contain sodium hydroxide (lye) which will remove both crud and aluminum. Read the label before use.

I use a bamboo skewer or pop-sickle stick to scrape off stubborn deposits. No need for harsh chemicals.

I found some really thick/stiff green nylon scrubbing pads at the dollar store. A narrow piece cut off worked well to clean the end of the ejection well,

I cleaned 3 cases this weekend. 1 Loki 38, 1 Aerotech 29, and 1 Aerotech 29 hobby case. In all 3 cases, nothing was removed from the case until the day after use. In all 3 cases, nothing other than soap, water, a bottle brush, and some q-tips was required to clean everything.
