Hello all, my name is Wes, and I live just outside of Huntsville, Al. Since finding a copy G. Harry Stine's The Handbook of Model Rocketry in the local library, I've dabbled with model rocketry for some 45 years now. I have run the gamut from making all my own materials in the early lean years to build and launch my own designs, to buying and assembling prefab parts, to building Estes kits. I have decided that as i draw near to retirement, I need a diversion to help occupy my time. I look forward to participating here and of course flying to the heavens aboard each of my creations.

Welcome to the Forum. You must be planning some really BIG rockets. Like Wil e Coyote on an ACME rocket.
It would probably be entertaining watching me cluster several Raptors to try to wrestle my fat backside loose from gravity... Not that I wouldn't like to try it!
