First timer!!!

Not for rockets, but for a CATO! Had read about the Estes D12-3 engine's letting go. Second launch on Estes Hi Flier XL....first went great...2nd, well here are pic's....blew mm up into body tube..no damage to rocket..had had a mishap awhile back, repaired...time to retire rocket and build new one....BUT!!!! All the posts about the D12 -3s are for real!! rsbhunter

Send them pics of rocket parts and motor. Tell them the rocket kit and the date code. Estes is really good at customer service.

Did contact them...sent pic's of above, plus empty body tube, weather conditions, etc....will see what happens...

I've heard that their customer service has waned these days.. Hopefully you hear back quick

I did recieve a "ticket" #. I would think that for the sum of $10-$12 dollars (cost) plus shipping, they would keep a customer. I honestly own 5 or six of their rockets, and use their motors....that can change in a heart beat...truth is, even though I just built a Madcow DX3 mid power, it's still easier to grab a couple smaller rockets, drive 5 minutes, and launch. With so many companies making lpr models and engines, I'd think they would want to preserve the Estes reputation and treat customers with respect. But it is a different world now...rsbhunter
