Not sure if anyonehas heard this yet, but it was posted in another forum that I frequent.

Apparently Bambu is recalling all full sized A1 units due to an extreme chance of fire caused by a faulty cable.

If you purchased directly from Bambu you should go to their announcement and initiate a support ticket, if you purchased from Micro Center you should return it for a full refund.

Hopefully this either doesn't affect you, or saves you from having any problems.

Yup. I am not sure which cable it is, but reportedly it is difficult to replace and Bambu is just recalling them.

There was an update posted today
Thanks for positing this.

"At the time of publishing this blog post, we have found that less than 0.1% of all the A1 printers sold have electrical malfunctioning problems related to heatbed cable suffering from damage reported to us."

100% recall and stop using your printer immediately, does not sound like 0.1%.

What Conway said. If there is a fault that will result in fires or injury and there is no other way to determine affected units a recall is the only option. It sucks for the company but they are doing the right thing.
