I've just finished up the Zooch Saturn 1 SA-5.

The entire build thread and more pics are on my blog at:
www.modelrocketbuilding.blogspot.com

Look it up under the ARCHIVES on the right side of the home page.
It's a great kit, I look forward to flying it at the December NEFAR launch.

Great looking build Chris, it's one of my favorite rockets. Does the kit come with all the doo dads hanging off the air frame, or did you add them yourself?

Another great build ,very nice ! Enjoyed the build thread on your site ,very useful and helpful for anybody doing up this kit and others.

Keep up the good work on your fine site and rockerty projects !

Sincerely;

Paul T

To Bradycros,
The kit does come with all the detail "doo-dads". You do make them out of toothpicks and dowels, but everything is there is the box. I only made one out of the eight standoff pieces at the S-IV fairing. There is enough balsa supplied in the kit to make all eight.
To Saluki,
Right now I don't have plans to build the new Zooch Mercury Atlas. I've built the Atlas Agena and Freedom 7 models already. I believe the Mercury Atlas is a smart combination of the two kits.

My build thread for the Atlas Agena is here on TRF:
https://www.rocketryforum.com/showthread.php?t=9576&highlight=zooch+atlas+agena
The Freedom 7 build is on my blog at:

Thanks for the feedback! It's good to know the blog is helping out.

The Zooch Saturn 1 SA-5 had it's first flight today at our Orlando R.O.C.K. launch. An Estes B6-4 gave it a good, manageable flight without going into the trees.

The launch report and more pictures are on my blog at:
