Starliner to Launch on Atlas V on May 6, 2024: When new Booster?

Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft will launch to the ISS on May 6, 2024. It will launch on a ln Atlas V booster and a Centaur second stage.

When will the Starliner be launched on a different rocket? Will that be the Vulcan-Centaur rocket?

All of the six contracted Starliner flights will be on Atlas. We'll see if there end up being more than six before worrying about a new booster.

Mission scrubbed for today. A stuck oxygen valve on the 2nd stage is the issue. No announcement yet of reschedule. Crew to be disembarked shortly.

The Atlas V is being rolled back to the vertical assembly facility. The earliest the launch can be is May 17th.
