This Dynasoar Mock 2 kit is a Frank Burke design intended to mirror the venerable Centuri Mach 10 kit of decades ago. I purchased a copy of the glider years ago (2? 3? I have no idea) and placed the parts on a shelf, and promptly became distracted by World Championships preparations. A fit of closet organization unearthed them past week, and construction was immediately started as it stopped the futile organization process cold.
If you've never built a Frank Burke kit, they go together scary fast. A 4" Sig RC canopy was added, and cut vinyl markings were sourced from Stickershock. The full project including assembly, painting, and radio installation, took less than three hours total spread over a week. I have a bunch of leftover 18mm Aerotech C3.4 motors that I can use for boosts.
