Checkerboard roll pattern. Can you say. “Checkerboard roll pattern”?
That wasn't so hard.

so you finished the Nuclear Sledgehammer?Planning my next build and flight.
See you there.Got my parents to agree to attending LDRS!
Ps actually it was yesterday.
yup one of the main reasons is it’ll be cool to meet a bunch of TRFers. I’ll only be able to be there Saturday through.See you there.

Got mine ready for decals. It was a fun buikd.
View attachment 637265Reminds me of the original Pro Series Terrier Sandhawk!
Hmmm....where do I find such a device?Finished this off last night for a 6" hybrid project. Mechanical (non pyro) parachute reefing device c/w battery, UHF transceiver, processor board, LDR, switches and mechanical latch. Primarily triggered by RF coded signal from the rocket's altimeter/flight computer but I can also trigger it from the ground via RF transceiver. Onboard LDR provides separation detection which is transmitted back to the flight computer, which should subsequently transmit the separation status back to the ground station. 9V battery only shown for scale. Black wire: floating patch antenna.

Hmmm, I'm surprised to find nothing from Google. "Propulsion Labs Parachute Tethering Latch" returns no useful search results.Hmmm....where do I find such a device?
Maybe it’s top secretHmmm, I'm surprised to find nothing from Google. "Propulsion Labs Parachute Tethering Latch" returns no useful search results.

My apologies, this is not a commercial device. It's only built for 1 particular project. Because the device relies on RF comms to activate, I can't see it being a particularly great seller. My flight electronics are all based around 2 way RF comms functionality, so it was designed around that. More than happy to illustrate and describe the internals if anyone is curious.Hmmm....where do I find such a device?
Can post something over the Easter break if you're interested.Interested in how this works. Would love to see a ground test.
